Founded by Trisha Mazzilli in 1999, The Grooming Room has proudly served the Jensen Beach and surrounding communities from the same location since it’s inception. Trisha has been passionate about animals since childhood with a particular love for dogs. After getting married she spent many years caring for the families horses and cattle, playing a vital role in the horse training program and spending almost every weekend at rodeos. With two young children competing in junior and high school rodeo association and her husband competing at the professional level she has logged many hours caring for animals.
Trisha Mazzilli is a passionate animal lover and a graduate of the Star Academy for Pets. She previously owned The Doggie Den in Lake Placid, where she honed her grooming skills and deepened her commitment to pet care. After relocating to Stuart, Florida, Trisha worked for several years at Ocean Breeze Animal Hospital, further expanding her expertise in animal care. Driven by her dedication to providing exceptional grooming services, she opened her own business, The Grooming Room, where she continues to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners. Trisha’s extensive background and love for animals ensure a compassionate and professional approach to pet grooming.
Jesica Richey I am a certified dog groomer through Texas All Breed Grooming School, bringing over 15 years of experience to the Jensen Beach area. In addition to my grooming skills, I am certified in first aid and pet rescue through the American Red Cross. I offer a wide range of services, from breed standard clips to fun, creative styles. If you can think it, I can do it! My passion for grooming ensures that every pet receives a caring and comfortable experience. I can’t wait to pamper your furry friends and help them look their best!
Peyton is an energetic and caring member of our bathing and blower drying department. With a special love for senior dogs, she shows immense patience and compassion in her work, ensuring that every furry friend feels comfortable and cherished. Her dedication to their well-being shines through in everything she does!
Hello, my name is Shelbi Optacy — a Certified Professional Pet Groomer for 7 years, I am dedicated to making pets look and feel their best! I’m currently furthering my education at Merryfield Academy in Fort Lauderdale, completing the AKC Certified Grooming Program and Anesthetic-Free Dental Scaling. I am also Pet CPR Certified with training experience with certifications, which allow me to create a safe, stress-free, and loving grooming experience for your precious furbaby!
